An Emergency Action Plan (EAP) is a short written plan for the first few minutes of a medical emergency at one specific place: who calls 911, who brings the AED, which gate the ambulance comes through, and which hospital the athlete goes to. Those minutes decide outcomes in cardiac arrest, heat stroke and serious head or neck injury, and they are lost when nobody is sure who does what.
The National Athletic Trainers' Association recommends a plan for every venue, made with local EMS, rehearsed at least once a year and posted where it will be used. A growing number of states require one for school athletics, and leagues, clubs and parks departments are held to the same standard of care.
Respara combines response and preparation. It walks you through each venue, prints the signs and binder, runs the rehearsal with your staff, and keeps the dated record that it all happened. More on why it matters
Already have a plan? Start from it.
Upload a PDF, Word file or scan and it's read into a draft you check field by field. Nothing is guessed and nothing you typed is overwritten.
Rehearsal Mode
Rehearse the plan, not just the paperwork
- Scenarios built from that venue's own plan, always including cardiac arrest
- Check off each step as your staff complete it, graded at the end
- Debrief, rerun what was missed, and every attempt is logged per coach

Plans
One annual price per organization, every feature in every tier. Tiers differ only by venue count. Plus a one-time $150 setup fee.
